Come visit, rest awhile, let your body be nourished and your soul be fed. We are excited you are here in this sacred space with us, whether you are visiting this space on our website, our Facebook page, or actually visiting with us in person, we welcome you into our church home and family.

What to expect when you come and worship with us at
First Congregational Church
of
Bakersfield-UCC

You’ll find a congregation of diverse ages and backgrounds, folks who are coupled and single, gay and straight, young and old. The style of our service is rather traditional, with robed clergy and colored paraments to match the church season. Folks come to church in suits and dresses as well as in jeans and t-shirts.

There’s plenty of parking on the East and North side of our church using the Real Rd entrances to the parking lot. The main entrance to the sanctuary is also on Real Rd.

Our Sunday Worship Service begins at 10 a.m. in our Sanctuary. The Sunday Order of Worship Bulletin is available on this website and in our weekly bulletins. A greeter will meet you at the sanctuary door to welcome you and an usher will help you find an open seat.

We look forward to seeing you!
